We are expert communications and leadership coaches who have worked with innovators and thought leaders globally. We bring in-depth experience and know-how in the fields of communications, leadership and human development. Two words that describe us:  mastery and learning. We bring a rare level of mastery and an avid desire to continually learn more, and share our knowledge and develop the mastery of others.

Why we are different.
As coaches, our job is to evoke – not impose. We put our focus where it belongs – on the client. We dialogue. We ask questions. We listen, observe and develop communications skills, clarity and confidence during the coaching process.

Our team is comprised of communications and leadership experts who have worked with clients in North America, Europe, and Asia. We bring a strategic understanding of your business and deep knowledge of leaders’ roles in achieving business objectives.

Kristine Schaefer

“Helping my clients gain new insights into their own behavior is a profound experience. What inspires me most is seeing people relinquish beliefs and behaviors that keep them from becoming powerful communicators and leaders—and watching them discover the strength and integrity that resides within them.”

Kristine Schaefer, principal of Loma Communications, is an executive coach specializing in communications coaching and leadership development.  She works with leaders around the world helping them expertly convey their vision and strategies and win competitive advantage for their companies.

In that capacity, Kristine has worked with over 120 companies in the U.S., Europe, the U.K. and Asia; including Hewlett-Packard, Charles Schwab, Wyeth, Stanford University, AMD, Autodesk, Comcast, and Jive Software.

In her coaching sessions and training workshops, Kristine creates an encouraging and safe environment where clients feel free to take risks, break unproductive patterns and make bolder and better choices in their leadership and communications abilities.
Prior to launching her coaching career in 1999, Kristine was a vice president at The Weber Group, now Weber Shandwick, a global communications firm, where she was a senior communications counselor to an $8 billion division of IBM; to high-tech start-ups; and to top trade and government officials in Asia.

Kristine began her career in Taiwan in 1986, joining Taiwan-based Acer Inc., the third largest PC manufacturer in the world.  She holds a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Minnesota. Kristine studied Mandarin Chinese at Nankai University in Tianjin, China, and at National Taiwan Normal University in Taipei, Taiwan.   She received training in Co-Active Coaching from The Coaches Training Institute.
